• Steve has spent the last six years acquiring and operating software businesses in digital marketing and legal technology
• He has successfully built two platforms: Traject (11 acquisitions, >50M ARR), and Paradigm (4 acquisitions, >30M ARR). Traject is still under Alpine management, and Paradigm was successfully sold in 2020

Early Career

• Steve worked in various roles throughout his career, starting in buy-side M&A, and spent significant time in operations as President, COO, and CFO across various stages of growth in software businesses
• He has extensive software and M&A experience both as an operator and investor, overseeing 19 acquisitions and one successful platform exit

KPMG

• Steve worked as a manager of KPMG in the Deal Advisory Group and spent time in startup portfolio operations in San Francisco

Education

• Steve earned a BA in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the state of California
